I believe in the power of therapy as a life-enhancing experience. As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I focus on empowering my clients to achieve a more authentic and satisfying connection to their true self, spouse, child and others.
I take an authentic, patient-focused and empathetic approach to help people achieve meaningful results and their fullest potential. With 12+ years of experience in clinical mental health, across direct care, management and professional training, I use my experience to guide people on how to build a better life and relationships through: individual therapy, couple’s therapy, dyadic therapy and trauma-based therapy between infants or young children and their parents.
My passion and interest in therapy started at an early age, with the intent to help people and spread compassion in the world. I reside in Connecticut with my husband, kids and our dog. I hold a Master’s degree in Human Development from the University of Rhode Island with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.
My certifications and memberships include:
I view psychology and mental health from the lens of how we work in our environmental and family groups. I am a family therapist who looks at individuals as part of a network of mental health needs. Even when I work with the individual, family and community matters to me.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, parental stress, early childhood, and maternal health. To do this I engage my clients in various modes of reflection about themselves, their relationships, and aspirations.
I’m proud to offer my therapy services to individuals, couples and families of all ages, who reside in the metro Connecticut area. I am also Bilingual and proud to serve BIPOC communities.
